I just wanted to respond to the listener who asked about mom guilt. I just read Tiffany Dufu’s book Drop the Ball, after watching her interview with Gretchen in the Four Tendencies course. I think EVERY working mom should read it – it addresses the practicalities, or rather, impracticalities, of trying to do it all, and why we shouldn’t feel guilty about not being able to do it all. It was a whole new perspective for me, and even though I now have a teenager and work from home, it was still eye-opening. Thanks for the podcast – love the show! 😀
I agree that you should dress to boss level to be perceived as the authority in the room. Have you considered renting clothes? There’s a number of companies that do this, the clothes are sized to fit your specific measurements and you can buy a piece if you love it. I’ve been doing this and it has really upped my boss game. And it’s easy!
