Liz and Sarah examine the pros and cons of doing a pilot in LA vs. out of town. Shooting in LA means they can sleep in their own beds and drop their kids off at school, but there’s no hotel bar. Then Liz and Sarah talk to Certified Nutrition Consultant and New York Times best-selling author Diane Sanfilippo about how to avoid hidden sugar, eat whole foods while socializing, and prepare meals ahead of time. Are you always late? This week’s Hollywood Hack can help: the Timeglass app! Finally, Liz and Sarah talk about all the celebrity sightings they’ve had during the pilot process — and why they don’t count!

I SO love your show. I’ve listened to every episode, and as a fellow KC girl, I‘m certain we’d be best friends if we knew each other. 🙂
For the past few years, I too have been on a major health quest, hoping to avoid the common diseases and health issues in my family.
My inexhaustible research has led me down the ‘plant-based’ path. So when Diane Sanfilippino (as a health expert) included beef jerky and bacon as healthy food, I could hardly contain myself.
All processed meats (deli slices, hot dogs, along with beef jerky and bacon, etc.) have been classified as a Class One Carcinogen by The World Health Organization, which means those foods have been proven to dramatically increase the risk of cancer.
In addition, thousands of peer reviewed studies also link those meats to heart disease.
I hope you’ll consider listening to this podcast on Alzheimer’s.

My apologies for being preachy. I just want you both to be super healthy for a very long time to come.
Much love to you both!
