Has Fantasy Island done a show with twins? I am a non-identical twin with a sister. We are quite different and while growing up in the same household we have had really different experiences.
Nancy worked very hard in school. I did enough to do better than average but was not interested in working that hard. She was even encouraged by my parents to ‘not work so hard’ and I never heard or overheard that lecture! My parents were educators. She attended one year of college (high performing school) but was always very smart and had interesting work.
I became a nurse and eventually earned my Master’s degree as an older adult. She was athletic. I was not. She remembers mom being worried about money as we grew up. I have no memory of that .
Anyway, twins are studied here in Minnesota at the U of Mn and parallel lives can be radically different. Also, separated twins can overlap in uncanny aspects. Look up the Jim twins.
Nature, nurture? Both! Something here to explore?
