Liz and Sarah discuss their decision not to make work for themselves during their upcoming downtime. Instead, they’re going to focus on recuperating from an intense work schedule. Then, in Take A Hike, they reveal how they’re each commemorating Season One of Fantasy Island. Liz bought herself a necklace, and Sarah ordered her dream spinning wheel! Next, in their new Amplify segment, they talk about Deborah Copaken’s new memoir, Ladyparts. Finally, this week’s Hollywood Hack will help you stand out at work: Have a Mary Poppins bag.

I’d love to see a community list of things to go in a “Mary poppins bag” – or types of “Mary poppins bags” – I’m thinking I need one to keep in my car for kids/sports/park outings, while the one for work would be a little different, and it may need to change a bit seasonally.
I know that Miss America has a “chaperone” who carries things like hairspray, a sewing kit, etc – come to think of it, a maid of honor might want to have a bag like that!
I know a workplace where someone told junior associates to carry small bills of cash when traveling for work, for tips in the hotels, airport, etc, because when your boss says “oh shoot, does anyone have cash” you look great by having it.
