Liz and Sarah discuss how, when working in a highly collaborative environment, everyone can be right at the same time, which can sometimes make things feel oh so wrong. Then, in The Mailroom, they answer two listener questions. How much thought is put into the way scenes look on television? And how can four women starting a business together successfully make group decisions? In The Craft (& Fain), they share a Tool of the Trade: jumbo neon dry erase whiteboard magnets. Finally, this week’s Hollywood Hack will help you relax: Read a romance.

Hi, Liz and Sarah!
I love listening to your podcast (Wednesdays are always a bright spot in my week) and learning more about your world–which seems so adventurous and glamorous from my cozy seat in Atlanta.
I was so interested in your analysis on imagery, casting, and cinematography in one listener’s spot-on analysis of “Billions.” As a millennial with an old-soul, I’m drawn to Alfred Hitchcock’s directorial genius in thrillers like “Psycho,” “North by Northwest,” “Rear Window,” and others. Since discovering them in my high school years, I’ve enjoyed picking out subtle cues of foreshadowing and character development–from Marion’s white (angelic) to black (devilish) wardrobe change in the opening scenes of Psycho to taking on the creative challenge to film an entire movie in a single apartment room in “Rear Window.”
I always enjoy learning more about the film/TV world–thanks for sharing your behind-the-scenes insights!
Just caught back up with the podcast after a few weeks of crazy. I was washing my dishes in my kitchen and started laughing so loudly when I heard my question about “Billions” being read on-air.
I knew it! THANK YOU LADIES! Still laughing!
