Liz and Sarah discuss their realization that so much can come from something… even if nothing comes from it. An example? In preparing for a recent meeting that went nowhere, they came up with an idea for a new narrative fiction podcast—and read an amazing book that had been on their list for years. In Hits & Bombs, Sarah’s hit goes to her trip to Riverside to buy a loom—for the first time since her daughter was born she did something on the weekend JUST FOR HERSELF. And Liz gives herself a bomb for counting her wardrobe chickens before her pilot (failed to) hatch. They also had a Bonus Bomb for everyone who plays loud music while hiking at Fryman Canyon. This week’s Hollywood Hack ensures you won’t repeat meeting outfits: take a picture on your phone. Finally, Liz and Sarah had some repeat Celebrity Sightings—Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin (together this time) and Jon Voight.

I love Sarah’s loom! I crochet and have tried some rope basket weaving, but I’ve been thinking of loom weaving lately. I may eventually take the plunge.
The main comment I wanted to make was about taking photos of outfits. I love the idea, and actually created an app with my husband for this reason. Well, and to catalog my too full closet of clothes to try to determine what I really love and want. Anyway, the app is free, but only for iPhone. We have plans to expand platforms and add features, but we don’t devote the time to a nonpaying side hustle. Check it out. I think it’s fun to look back on my outfits and see what I love most. It’s called kloz.it. You can also go to the website with the same name for how to navigate the app.
